Alena started practicing her career while still in college, during her last semester at Arizona State University she forecast for Cronkite News, an Emmy-award-winning nightly newscast that is run by students. Having taught herself a lot about the weather, Lee was able to get her first job on-air at WPDE in Myrtle Beach, SC. She worked there for 2 years before moving back to the west where she got a job at ABC30 in Fresno, California. Lee worked there as the weekday morning and midday weather anchor. Now Alena is back in the Midwest and is happy to call this place home, a place that gets all four seasons.
