Amanda Hill is an award winning American journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter at NEWS CENTER) in Maine, Portland since 2007.
Amanda Hill Education
Hill developed a desire to be a media personality at a very young age and after graduating high school, Hill studied and graduated from Northern Vermont University with a Bachelor’s degree in Television Studies. While at Vermont, she studied Broadcast Television from both ends of the camera.
Amanda Hill Career
After graduating Hill first landed a job at Kingdom Access Television which is a local access station based Vermont. At KA-TV Amanda was serving as photographer and programmer since August 2006 to June 2007. She was in charge of programming shows into the daily line up and made sure schedules were timed correctly.
Apart from that she acted as a photographer at multiple meetings and events then she would later edit the shots and videos to perfection and create digital copies.
Later in 2007 she got a position at NEWS CENTER Maine, Portland as a producer of the weekend morning report. After a few years she became the anchor of the show she produced and she’s still holding that position, You can see Amanda every weeknight during newscasts and on the Magazine style show called 207.
