After an 8-year hiatus from TV news to start a family, she returned to the air where she joined FOX9 in 2015. Hockert has spent several years as a volunteer at orphanages in China and helping those living in poverty in Ecuador. She is a passionate philanthropist, whether it’s overseas or in her own backyard. She manages the delivery/distribution of news content and assembles and oversees the news team. And more recently, Amy’s professional journey came full circle when she joined FOX9 as an anchor and special projects reporter.
