Brittney Shipp is an American journalist based in Philadelphia serving as a meteorologist for NBC10’s First Alert Weather Team. She provides live newscasts every weekday evening. After working as the Chief Meteorologist at KRON-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area for two years, Brittney came back to NBC10. She is thrilled to be working again in the Greater Philadelphia region and having a positive influence on the neighborhood.

She is committed to inspiring young females and students to explore professions in weather and science through school visits, mentorship, and volunteering. Brittney enjoys globe travel when she is not making weather predictions. She values spending time with her family and considers becoming a new mother to be her most significant accomplishment.
