There she works as an evening anchor. Additionally, she realized her love for journalism when she was still a child and used to accompany her father at night to watch behind the scenes. Christel’s father worked as a custodian at FOX 26.
Previously before moving to WMBF in South Carolina. There she worked as a producer and evening anchor for KTRE in Lufkin, Texas. Christel started her broadcast career as a production assistant for KTRK 13 in Houston shortly after completing her undergraduate degree.
In addition, Bell has traveled across the country to serve as a motivational speaker. She also invests her time in the community in emceeing fundraising events for non-profit organizations and also providing mentoring guidance for youth programs in her area. Christel is a staunch believer that a journalist should be involved in the community in order to air their stories since it is the only way she can be the voice of the people who live there.
In her free time away from her official duties, Bell enjoys catching a new movie, touring new places, spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, with her family and friends, and utilizing a good car karaoke.
