Curt Sandoval is an American journalist serving as the weekend sports anchor for ABC7 Eyewitness News. He joined the Station in 1999 as a sports reporter. For his work at ABC7, Curt received two Emmy awards, among other honors. Curt is fortunate to cover events like the X-Games, Lakers, Clippers, USC, UCLA, and Dodgers. His passion, though, is creating their High School Coach of the Week pieces and writing about motivational athletes.

He is now a small company owner. Curt is an enthusiastic runner who has participated in multiple marathons. He has also completed a number of Ironman Triathlons. He was driven to complete the 140-mile endurance challenge so he could donate $5,000 to the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
