Dani Beckstrom is an American Meteorologist serving as a correspondent for WABC-TV News. Beckstrom began working as a meteorologist for Eyewitness News and ABC7NY in August 2022. Prior to that, she was the chief meteorologist for the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Before moving to Las Vegas, she worked as the morning meteorologist at WFTX in Fort Myers, following hurricanes, heat waves, and humidity in southwest Florida. She is eager to forecast all four seasons once more after several years of nonstop summer!
Dani is a proud graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She got the chance to tour the nation while attending BYU as a cheerleader and as an intern at NY1 in New York City. Dani returned to Boise to take over as the morning weather forecaster at the ABC affiliate KIVI after working as an anchor and reporter at KPVI in Eastern Idaho for a year following graduation.
She relocated from Boise to Fort Myers, Florida, to gain experience in both severe weather and tropical meteorology. In September 2017, when Hurricane Irma made landfall on Marco Island, she played a critical role in keeping southwest Florida safe and informed. Dani obtained her Certificate of Broadcast and Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University while working in Florida, and she graduated in August 2018. Dani enjoys living in New York City because there are always new restaurants to try and sports teams to root for.
