David Ono is a 9-time Emmy award-winning journalist serving as the co-anchor for ABC7 Eyewitness News at 4 pm and 6 pm with Ellen Leyva. Since joining ABC7 in 1996, David has covered everything from the tsunami in Japan, the earthquake in Haiti, and Hurricane Katrina. He made extensive travels throughout Asia and Europe while documenting the valiant actions of Nisei soldiers in World War II.
