Doug Currin Education
Currin went to George Mason University just outside of Washington, DC, where he graduated and he is now an invited guest lecturer on the political economy of media at the same university.

After leaving George Mason university Doug started his career in broadcasting in radio in the Washington, D.C. and New York City areas. He then went to work in the Great Smoky Mountains. Afterward, he went to Waco, Texas, where he worked for 8 years. Further, he was the principal evening anchor and managing editor for the day’s flagship newscasts. In addition, he would at that time contribute to all media platforms within the same station.
