Amman started his career in journalism in Alpena, Michigan before moving to work at WBKO in Bowling Green, Kentucky as a Sports Reporter. He then proceeded to WTVW Fox 7 in Evansville, Indiana to work as a Sports Director and Anchor. In December 2014, he joined KNWA/ KFTA in Fayetteville, Arkansas to serve as the Lead Sports Anchor for almost 6 years.
