Ivory went to Columbia College in Chicago where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. She then began her career at WDJT-TV in South Bend, Indiana as a news anchor and general assignment reporter.
Ivory afterward worked on CLTV as an anchor. Actually, she helped in launching WREX-TV online traffic reporting show ‘CommunterCast’ in 2007, where she was working as a reporter and morning anchor. Before joining WGN-TV, Erin did a 90-mile radius around Chicago, where she anchored and reported in Milwaukee, South Bend, and Rockford.
