Evan Millward Career
Millward went to Ohio University. E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2011. He was first a visual storyteller at the Columbus Dispatch as a videographer as well as a web producer in 2011. Later in the year, he went to work for KMIZ-TV in Missouri where he launched the Jefferson City bureau. Within a short time, he was promoted to weekend anchor and worked there for 2 years then left in July 2014 when he then landed a reporting and anchoring job at WCPO 9 News. Evan feels humbled to see how as a journalist he is able to affect real change in his communities. He still remembers his first story at WCPO 9 when a Westwood daycare had all its field trip money stolen. The Tri-State stepped up and more than what was taken was returned within a few days.
