Eytan Wallace is an Emmy award-winning American journalist serving as a reporter and multimedia journalist for the FOX 40 News network since joining the station in August 2021. Before joining Fox 40, Wallace was working for KGET-TV 17, the NBC affiliate in Bakersfield, where he served as a multimedia journalist for three years.

His primary job was covering the politically active Central Valley and had the chance to interview and present stories with people from different political backgrounds. Such people include members of Congress, contenders for president, and local school boards. While working at KGET, Eytan covered the 2020 presidential election and received an Emmy Award for it. Moreover, he gained the community’s respect for his unbiased reporting.
In addition, Eytan spent months assisting in the investigation of alleged financial mismanagement at the Kern County Fair. Further, he was also the first newsperson on the ground after a series of strong earthquakes struck Ridgecrest, including the US Naval Air Weapons Station at China Lake. He was delighted to join NBC4/LA while still a student at USC and work closely with Conan Nolan, the station’s lead political reporter, as its political news intern.
Wallace has always been a fan of KNBC and the talent there, especially renowned journalist Chuck Henry. Eytan then worked as an intern for Lester Holt’s NBC Nightly News West Coast Bureau after this. Also, he and Holt reconnected recently, this time at the USC campus’ Annenberg Media Center. Eytan worked at the bustling assignment desk of the KNBC during his last year at USC, where he proposed stories and assisted in organizing crews in the field.
