In addition, he also studied Meteorology at Mississippi State University and at Youngstown State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies. Marzullo started his career in journalism as a Weather Anchor at WTAP, an NBC station in Parkersburg, West Virginia in January 2000.
He worked here for almost a year before proceeding to 21 WFMJ TV, an NBC affiliate in Youngstown to serve as a Meteorologist in December 2000. He covered weekday morning and noon forecasts for over 6 years. Marzullo received the Ohio Associated Press Award for Outstanding Weather Operation for 2 years while here. He later joined FOX 19 Now in August 2007 in Cincinnati serving as a weekday morning Meteorologist between 4:30 and 9 am. Marzullo also hosts Morning News Xtra, a lifestyle, community, and entertainment show focusing on the Tri-state area, between 9:00 and 11:00 am since September 2010.
In 2016 and 2017, he was named Best Of The City Meteorologist voted by Readers Of City Beat Magazine. He is part of the National Weather Association and has earned the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society. He has also worked behind the camera in stations in Cleveland and Huntington while in college. Marzullo is a member of several charitable organizations in Cincinnati such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Duke Energy Children’s Museum, and American Heart Association.
