Geoff Hart is an American Sports Director and Journalist, he is very well known in American for his excellent work in journalism. Hart currently works as the co-anchor of WYFF News 4 Today each weekday morning. She joined this channel in 1993, before, Hart was the Sports Director for eighteen years before moving to the other end of the desk as co-anchor of WYFF News 4 Today.

In Northeastern earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication. Later on, he enrolled at Emerson College in Boston where he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Communications.

Currently, he works at WYFF-TV for WYFF News 4 Today as a Morning Co-Anchor. Hart joined WYFF 4 in 1993. He first worked here for18 years as a Sports Director before his current position. He has received many industry honors like the 2010 Southeast Regional Emmy for the Best Sportscast as well as the 2010 Best Sportscaster from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolina.
Geoff Hart Announces Alzheimer’s diagnosis {Illness}
Hart went for medical leave towards the end of December 2020. The WYFF 4 family was so heartbroken by the news of his illness. His colleagues said that they would continue to support him he left for the leave so he would go and focus on his health.
Alzheimer is a type of dementia. It is a brain disease that affects a person’s thinking, behavior, and memory. Its symptoms with time grow to be very serious to an extent that it interferes with one’s daily tasks.
His family decided to publicly share his condition through a news story in the month of May 2021. He is however happy for having worked with WYFF 4 since 1993. We wish him the best and pray for him to have a quick recovery.
