Kuntz went to Loyola University New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. There he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and History, Communication, and Media Studies. Later on, he went to Syracuse University where he graduated with a master in Broadcast Journalism. Additionally, Harold also went to John Carroll University.

Kuntz started his television career at KSNF in Joplin, Missouri, Washington D.C. There he worked as the Capitol Hill Correspondent from June 2008 to Aug the same year. Harold worked at WHAG TV in Hagerstown, MD where he was a Sports Reporter. In addition, Kuntz worked as a Fill-in Anchor and had live shots for Friday Night Football broadcasts from August 2009 to August 2011.

Additionally, Harold went to work at Griffin Communications as a Sports Reporter and Anchor for KOTV in Tulsa, OK. He would cover daily reports and features on sports-related stories across the market area. At Griffin Communications, he would anchor the weekend sports news and was also an anchor during weekdays along with assigning duties to the rest of the sports staff. Harold is currently working at WDAF-TV which is a Fox-affiliated television station located in Kansas City, MO as a sports anchor and reporter.

In his career, Kuntz has done coverage of multiple NCAA Basketball tournaments, and NBA Playoff runs with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Furthermore, he was the first reporter to interview the Thunder draft pick and Tulsa native Terrance Ferguson on NBA draft night.
