Hemky Madera whose full name is Hemky Louis Madera is a Dominican-American actor famous for his current role as Carlos Sujo in the new Netflix heist drama series, Kaleidoscope. Previously, he played Mr. Delmar in the Marvel superhero film, Spider-Man: Homecoming and took the leading parts in the mini-series En La Olla and Trio en Alta Mar.

Holding a degree in Marketing, Madera went to Santiago Christian School and after college, he decide to act full-time when he moved to New York. There, he worked on the production of The Bookie’s Lament in 2000 with Gabriel Macht and later returned to the Dominican Republic. Back in his hometown, Madera starred in the mini-series Asalto en la Lincoln and in the sitcoms Ciudad Nueva and Los Electrolocos. His acting career kicked off in the Dominican Republic TV production Grandes Series Dominicanas taking the lead parts in En La Olla and Trio en Alta Mar both by Alfonso Rodríguez.
After going back to the United States, Madera appeared in the feature film Dreaming of Julia in 2003 with Harvey Keitel and Gael García Bernal. In 2005, he appeared in the drama film The Lost City with Andy García, Dustin Hoffman, and Bill Murray, and in 2010 in The Wrath of Cain with Ving Rhames and Robert Patrick. Additionally, Hemky has done voice work in the computer-animated Western film Rango alongside Johnny Depp and others. On TV, he appeared in single episodes of the hit police procedural drama series Law & Order: Criminal Intent, the Fox crime drama, The Shield, the ABC family drama, Brothers & Sisters, and the NBC sitcom My Name is Earl.
