Iantha Richardson Career
Richardson has always had a passion for the performing arts since age 3 and was first exposed to acting while receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Fordham University and The Ailey School. In Los Angeles, she began pursuing theatrical training at various schools in the area, and apart from acting, she worked as a teacher and ballet performer. She taught after her graduation working at The Ailey School youth division and in the Harlem School for arts for 7 years. Likewise, Iantha has also worked in many other urban development art programs in society. She performed at the Lula Washington dance theatre and in the Ailey company in Memoria working with various singers and artists.
Richardson got her first break in acting in the TV series, Journey of a Goddess in 2016 as Krys Pickins alongside Ashley Curtis and Norman Towns. From 2018 to 2019, she was cast in the role of Ryan Taylor in the series Jones. The actress rose to fame after playing the main role of Tolu in Freeform’s Good Trouble from 2019 to 2022. She was also featured constantly as Adult Tess Pearson in the NBC family drama, This is Us from 2017 to 2022.
