John Clark is an Emmy award-winning American broadcaster serving as an NBC10 News correspondent. You can watch his live reports of NBC Sports Philadelphia on weekdays. Clark joined NBC10’s sister station in 2014 after 13 years with NBC10.
John Clark Career
Clark is currently a correspondent for the NBC10 News team. At the beginning of his career, Clark worked as a reporter and sports anchor for WPTV, an NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, Florida. He worked as a reporter and sports anchor for WMGM in Atlantic City. Clark covered some of the most significant sports events in Philadelphia history while working for NBC10, such as the Eagles’ performance in Super Bowl XXXIX and the 2006 NFL Hall of Fame Game. Additionally, he covered the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory, the Phillies’ World Series triumph and parade, and the Flyers’ 2010 Stanley Cup Finals appearance.
In 2004, Clark won a Mid-Atlantic Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Sports Reporting. He has had numerous Emmy nominations. Clark, a Strath Haven High School alumnus and native of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, once mimicked the late Phillies announcer Harry Kalas. He worked as an intern for WB 17, Fox 29, and Temple’s Channel 54 while attending Temple University. Since his brother started competing in the Special Olympics, Clark has been a committed volunteer for the organization.
