Fisher went to The University of Tennessee at Martin where he graduated with a degree in broadcast television and radio. His dream job was always radio, his uncle who was a producer and host of a radio show in North Carolina was his role model. However, Fisher grew up seeing so many local journalists in his home state. He, therefore, thought about how much difference he would make to the community and aimed at becoming a Television personality.

Jonathan then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, and got a job behind the scenes of the evening news at KMVT. He was quick to learn more about every position and also what it took to become a newscaster. He, therefore, moved to Spokane after three years where he was working as the morning radio show producer for 920 News Now. Fisher gained so much knowledge and experience that for 4 News Now in December of 2020, he was brought on to become the 5 pm producer. Ever since, he enjoys doing all types of movies, video games, and comic books. Outside work, you will find him doing outdoor activities such as Snowboarding and Skateboarding and really wants to become better at them.
