She attended Northern Kentucky University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies in 2013. She started her career in journalism as a Summer Intern at Local 12 WKRC TV Cincinnati in May 2013, before she was promoted to Assignment Editor and Production Assistant in August. Minor then moved to Terre Haute, Indiana, and joined WTWO, an NBC News 2 affiliate in December 2014 as a Multimedia Journalist and Reporter.
In June 2015, she also started serving as a Co-host on Good Day Live, a weekday lifestyle, and Entertainment show. Afterward, she joined WKYT, FOX 19’s sister station in Lexington serving as a Reporter and Weekend Morning Anchor in 2017. This was before Minor joined the team at FOX 19 Now in Cincinnati to work as a Morning Reporter in April 2019 where she works to date.
