Mike Lichniak is an American Meteorologist working for WBOC-TV in Salisbury, MD. He has been working for the station since joining the WBOC Storm Tracker Weather Team in February of 2013.

Lichniak is a meteorologist for WBOC-TV. He is a Connecticut native who attended Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vt. where he graduated with a bachelor of science in meteorology in May of 2009. Upon graduating and earning his degree, he decided to go to one of the hardest places to forecast weather. He got his first job at WOAY-TV in southern West Virginia where he continued his fascination for forecasting mountain weather. After working at WOAY-TV for some time, Lichniak’s pull to the ocean and his childhood dream of living in Delmarva could not be contained anymore hence he joined WBOC.
Lichniak is a full member of the American Meteorological Society and is working hard to get his seal from the organization. During his free time, he enjoys watching the latest action flick, playing a round of golf, rooting on his favorite sports teams, and also discovering new places. He works at WBOC alongside:
