Villicana is a sports reporter for FOX5 News.  Before joining FOX5, she worked at WAFF-TV in Huntsville, Alabama. In WAFF-TV Paloma she was a sports reporter, she covered the SEC. She would travel with the Alabama football team to the College Football Playoffs, the National Championship, as well as the NFL Draft in Nashville. She was very happy to work alongside Nick Saban and also for being able to see Tua Tagovailoa’s career doing so well at Alabama.

Villicana started her career in Dallas working, she was working for the Cowboys and Spectrum Sports. At that time, she was still attending Texas Christian University. Here, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports broadcasting and a minor in Spanish. While still in the University, Paloma was working as a sideline reporter for all four years. She was working with Texas Christian University Football and Entertainment and Sports Programming Network and Fox Sports Southwest. Villicana really helped the launch of the first student-produced sports show at Texas Christian University called “Unscripted.” It still airs to date.

Villicana originally comes from San Diego. It is here that she learned sports reporting when she was at KUSI-TV. In fact, she did her first interview on-air with Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers when she was only 17, Paloma grew up in a family that loved footfall. Her father actually played at San Diego State. He as well-coached high school football all over California. Interesting to know,  Paloma’s birthday falls on Super Bowl weekend, therefore, all her birthday parties have been Super Bowl parties. Outside work, she enjoys finding the best local spots to eat in town together with exploring Las Vegas.
