She graduated cum laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in broadcast and cinematic arts and a minor in political science. Once she had graduated, she began her career in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a multimedia journalist. She would independently pitch, shoot, write, and edit each story before airing it.
After some time, Graham left Fort Wayne for WSPA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Greenville, South Carolina where she worked as an anchor and reporter. It is while she worked there that she covered stories with national attention, such as the Gatlinburg wildfires that injured 190 people and claimed 14 lives, the immense destruction from Hurricane Matthew, and the shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church. Further, during her time with WSPA-TV, she was named Reporter of the Year by the South Carolina Broadcasters Association.
Currently, Graham works as an anchor at CBS News in Detroit and she is super excited about it. She says that she is honored and thrilled to become one of Detroit’s trusted voices and faces. And adds that launching a hyper-local streaming and broadcast service in a market like Detroit is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that her colleagues and her don’t take easily.
