Teezo Touchdown is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and rapper. His birth name is Aaron Thomas, however, he is well-known by his stage name Teezo Touchdown. He started posting music to YouTube while still a high school student in Beaumont using the aliases AyeTee and later Teezo Suave. Touchdown created songs for rappers in his city and shot early music videos at his high school, which received little recognition.

Teezo Touchdown became Thomas’s stage moniker in 2016. He started working with the musical group CVKE Supply about this time, and in 2017, they posted the music videos for his songs “Professional” and “It Depends” to YouTube. He published two mixtapes on SoundCloud in 2018 with the titles “The Example” and “Cover Boy.”
Touchdown collaborated with producer COOP on the song “100 Drums,” which was published in February 2019. According to NME, the song is “[a rap song] about the gun violence in his hometown over Panic! At The Disco’s smash emo-pop anthem “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies.” When will rappers realize that like one of the most well-liked songs of the 2000s is not as different from liking other popular songs, asked Pitchfork in a review of the song? Thomas appeared in Marc Jacobs’ Heaven collection in September 2021, and he also sang “I’m Just A Fan” during Alyx and Moncler’s Mondo Genius event. He made an appearance in a commercial for Telfar’s “Bag Security Program III” in October 2021. On February 10, 2022, he started the Call Me If You Get Lost Tour in honor of Tyler, the Creator’s album Call Me If You Get Lost. The tour also featured fellow Americans Vince Staples, Tyler, the Creator, and Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis. Along with producer Kenny Beats, he also released the tune “Handyman.” His web series Watch Your Step made its debut on Telfar TV on March 6, 2021. Telfar is an American clothing company. Short comedic sketches that advertise Telfar items make up the series.
